   Gearing Up For Preschool

Please read the information given to you in your registration packet -you need a clear understanding of conditions and requirements for you and your child.

Registration Forms - To begin the registration process, each family completes a registration packet. The forms in the packet are kept on file in our office, as required by State Licensing, as explained in The Joy of Children Preschool Parent's Handbook. These forms must be completed in full BEFORE your child is admitted to preschool. We also require a signed Admission Agreement, to complete the registration.

Registration Fee of $75 per family is required at the time of registration. This is an annual fee, due on your enrollment anniversary date. Our office will provide you with a reminder notice.

Personal Cubby Space -Your child will be assigned his/her very own "cubby" space at the preschool. This space is for storage of personal belongings, such as a snuggle for rest time, an extra change of clothes, etc. All items other than jackets that do not fit in your child's cubby can not be left at the school. We will also place handouts for parents in your child's cubby, so please check for these frequently.

Bedding for Extended Care Program - If your child is enrolled in the Extended Care Program you will need to store a SMALL blanket, pillow and crib sheet in your child's cubby. It is the parent's responsibility to make certain your child has the items for rest time and that these items are taken home every week to be laundered.
